I went to Jollibee one time,
after taking some time to think what to eat,
I decided to eat Amazing Aloha,
a meal which you do not see all the time on their menu.
The woman at the counter told me it’s not yet available,
so she offered me the best - Jollibee Champ.
I said no, that’s not what I need.
Then she offered me ones which are readily available - the regular Yums.
I said no again, that’s not what I want.
The woman feeling irritated told me with a firm, louder voice -
"a lot of people has been asking for Amazing Aloha like you,
I offered them alternatives like yum, they settled with it.
I offered others better with a Champ
& they went back to their seats happily eating their meal.
Now tell me, what is it that you really want?”
I said, “I don’t wanna settle for the regulars, it does not satisfy me.
I don’t need the best burger you can offer,
I don’t need to buy the most expensive one,
I may afford it now but might hurt my budget in the long run.
There’s only one thing I’d love to have right now, it’s Amazing Aloha.”
The woman replied “I’m afraid you’ll get very hungry,
it will take about 20 minutes for us to prepare it coz it’s not yet ready…
Are you willing to wait?”
Though I am already hungry, my decision remains firm.
"If it’s Amazing, it’s worth the wait."
The same rules apply when I choose a woman to love,
there’s a lot of option, but I don’t wanna settle for the ones available.
Then there are those who are considered the best by many,
very beautiful, very sexy, brainy, or rich,
but I don’t need those type of girls.
Here comes the special,
you don’t see her very often,
she’s quite hard to find.
She might not be ready,
but she’s worth the time & effort.
She’s amazing, & she’s worth the wait.
